  1. Information about you

      • create or update a Profile or Good Thing;
      • post Content to the lovely Website;
      • make an enquiry about the lovely Website, #wewillgather’s services, the Good Things and/or about #wewillgather;
      • ask for or share info through the lovely Website;
      • sign up for any of #wewillgather’s mailing lists or events through the lovely Website; and/or
      • contact us through the lovely Website, or any other channel.
    2. Feel free to share and include but not necessarily limit the following personal information to:
      • your date of birth;
      • your name (including your first name as many middle names as you might have – we’ve met people with at least three – and surname);
      • your email address;
      • your postcode;
      • your phone number — obviously one you don’t mind being online;
      • other details about you that you or others provide to us; video footage of you; and photos of you.

We may also request or collect some non-personal information from you.

    1. Your personal information will only be used by us to:
      • run your requests through our requests engine;
      • answer your questions or reply to your comments;
      • provide or administer stuff relating to #wewillgather’s services or the services offered on the lovely Website, including the Good Things;
      • display your Profile or Content on the lovely Website or any other website owned or operated by #wewillgather (except where you have decided to make your Profile personal, in which case your Content will not be displayed on any #wewillgather website);
      • provide you with info relating to #wewillgather, the lovely Website or our services, or that we reckon may be of interest to you;
      • so we can file everything neatly and tidily and can help you later on;
      • conduct important research including evaluations carried out for us by other nice organisations that we trust or prepare reports; and
      • supply your information to third parties as described in paragraph 2 (iii) below.
    2. If you don’t want to get information from us tell us, by email, at info@wewillgather pasting the word “unsubscribe” in the subject box.
    3. Any personal information you provide when using the lovely Website may be shared with third parties even if you’ve opted for a private Profile, including but not limited to:
      1. People who support #wewillgather, but only if the sharing of your personal information is necessary for the purpose of delivering a Good Thing;
      2. Administrators of Good Things, where you’ve expressed an interest in or have applied for one of their Good Things, but only for the purpose of delivering that Good Thing;
      3. companies or organisations carrying out work on #wewillgather’s behalf, in relation to the Good Things; and
      4. Good People that access the lovely Website and who are able to view the details of your Profile or your Content (except if you have opted for your Profile to be private). However, members of the public even where you have a public Profile will not be able to view your name, email or telephone number (although they’ll be able to view your screen name and other Content).
      5. If you don’t want your personal info, Content or information about the Good Things you’ve taken part in, provided by you, to be displayed on the lovely Website or any other website owned or operated by #wewillgather, please select the option for a private Profile when creating your Profile.

Even if you have selected a private Profile, your personal info will be shared with third parties. However, it will not be displayed on the Website.

    1. We’ll take reasonable precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration of information you give us.
    2. Communications in connection with the lovely Website and its content may be sent to you by e-mail from our engine. For ease of use and compatibility, communications will not be sent to you in an encrypted form. E-mail is not a fully secure means of communication. Whilst we attempt to keep our engine and it’s outputs protected against viruses and other harmful effects we cannot guarantee this. #wewillgather takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information but where third parties are concerned accepts no liability for any misuse of your personal information by third parties so you are absolutely using the lovely Website and it’s funky things at your own risk.

    1. If you would like us to correct or update or change or make more flowery any information about you, then please email us .Thank you.
    2. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, so just as with the Terms and Conditions it’s a really good idea to come back and check it regularly. Otherwise you could find your mother/sister/brother/aunt/dog sharing photos of you as a baby on the site, because we updated the policy to say she could and you didn’t see the update. (Don’t worry, we have no immediate or long term plans to allow this to happen).
